I chose this book because it looked funny and it looks like he is planning to do somthing with a needle he might sew somthing.I alsso think his name is desperaux becuase I dont think desperaux is aa real word.I noticed the chapters are short.The book reminds me of the mouse and the motorcycle because it has to do with a mouse and they both talk plus they are both holding somthing and finally they are both good at something.The book cover looks interesting it looks like he's fighting with someone so he is using the needle as a sword.
I chose this book because I sall the movie and thought it was adorible but I know the movie is always diferent then the book but. so far I love the book. despereaux is so cute and i thought "hay I should get the book" so I did. I love the book so much I read it every night. so far im on page 137. p.s it the best book Iv ever read. I think youll like it too
I really like the book it is really sad that he has to go in a dungeon I am on chapter 39 an dI am on book 3 it is really intrezting it leaves the reader hanging and anxious to go to the next chapter I wond3r if miggery sow will ever be a princess again since her mother died and her father sold her for a red blanket,a hen,and a ciggarete box adn now she left and now lives with a man who she calls her uncle who is always putting cauliflower in her ears but as soon as the knight came to take all the spoons and bowls away from teh villagers since soup was ulawed and it was also illegal to trade so miggery sow had to go to the palace where the PRINCESS live and had to be her new maid! Miggery sow was happy because sh loved being a princess but she also felt sad at times because she thought about her mother and father not living with her.I woulnt be happy because I would have to clean and cook for EVERYONE! can you imagine that!!!!!!!!!!!
I am starting to get questions in my head like: 1.Why is MIggery sow becoming evil? 2.Why is Roscuro trying to get Miggery Sow to do his plan? 3.will Desperaux ever escape from the dungeon? My answer to number one is because she wnats to be a princess again and not a maid.My answer to number two is becuase he is trying to get her in the dungeon to and he can destroy the world.My naswer to number three is yes i think he will because he is smart and brave
I am on chapter 40 it is getting so interesting i have a few question in my head like: Willl they ever find the princess (eventhough the Roscuro tricked her and know shes hidden in the dungeon) Will soup be a law again?
Because I love the tale of Despereaux and I read this book in 3rd and it’s my favorite book so far so I am at chapter 12.
